Madonna is,

once again, making history! The 80's pop icon now has 50 #1 singles on the Billboard dance-pop chart, making her the only artist in the world to have 50 #1 singles on a single Billboard chart.

True to form, Madonna is making the most of this feat with a 50-track album, headline-making collaborations and a surprise performance to kick off Pride Week 2022. It looks like we are, once again, in the middle of a Madonna-athon! And Yellowpop is excited to announce that we're participating with an exclusive limited editioncollaboration for the pop icon's birthday!

His performance at Pride

Announced at the last minute on Madonna's Instagram account, her concert at Terminal 5 on New York's West Side saw a packed house full of dancers, and delighted fans!

The event was named after the art collective World of Women, an organization that aims to increase the visibility of women in the NFT (non-fungible token) space. The event was hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race star Bob the Drag Queen, with appearances by Tokischa and Saucy Santana.

The concert was titled "Wow, Finally Enough Love," in reference to Madonna's upcoming 50-track remix album. According to one attendee, you had to buy NFT "tickets" in crypto-currency to attend.

This wasn't Madonna's first step into Web3 territory, however. In May, she launched a surprising, controversial and all-Madonna NFT project with Web3 superstar Beeple.

The NFT project

According to an interview posted on her Instagram, the project was a year in the making and focuses on the themes of motherhood and creativity, two things Madonna has explored extensively throughout her career. The result is titled "Mother of Creation" and features a tryptic of short videos created via digital scans of Madonna's entire body.

In the spirit of the greatest moments of her career, the work is immediately striking, potentially shocking to conservative minds, but clearly loaded with meaning. Each video is narrated by Madonna herself, either in her own words or with the famous poet Rumi.

This project, along with her surprise concert at Terminal 5, continues a tradition that is central not only to her career but to Madonna's identity as an artist: the willingness to innovate, to take risks, and to create something unexpected and unforgettable. Whatever your point of view, there's no denying that Madonna remains a central figure in the cultural conversation.

There was the NFT project, the surprise performance, and now there's neon! Continuing her exploration of new creative territories, Madonna has partnered with Yellowpop to create a limited edition of 4 neon LED signs. Each model is limited to 100 pieces.

This project recalls career highlights like "Express Yourself" and her album "True Blue," which many consider an artistic turning point for Madonna, as she went from dance-pop princess to Queen.

It's a perfect fit with Madonna's roots in 80s club culture, so it makes sense that her work would be transformed in the same lights under which she captured the spirit of that culture! For those inspired by Madonna, this is the perfect way to add a touch of superstar energy, without compromise to their space.

Finally Enough Love!

All of this leads, of course, to the release of her 50-track remix album Finally Enough Love. It's a perfect celebration, as Madonna has been working with DJs since the beginning of her career, forever transforming our view of disco music.

The album features some impressive names, such as the Pet Shop Boys, Shep Pettibone, David Morales, and even the late Tim Burlging, aka Avicii.

To say that Madonna has strayed from her small-town Michigan roots is an understatement. From her early days singing in punk rock bands to her first hit with "Everybody" to iconic moments like the "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes"-inspired video for "Material Girl" to her 2003 VMAs performance with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. It was an unforgettable journey through glamour, bold self-expression and intoxicating music!

For all these reasons and more, we couldn't be more excited to be a part of this historic moment in her career!
