Mira Miriah, the artist behind Girl Knew York, has her roots in fashion illustration. Driven by inspiration, she left the fashion world to become one of New York's most popular tattoo artists. Seeing a lack of more feminine and linear tattoos, she decided to fill the void with her elegant and bold style. She went on to tattoo pop stars and celebrities, setting up her own salon in Tribeca, and moved away from tattoos to create interiors, art, NFTs and a magazine.
